Art in the Park
(Photo via Danica_Lately)
I found myself lost in the Park late yesterday. Not lost geographically, but lost in a sort of mental state, a 'no sense of time' kind of state. I stumbled upon a willow tree, the only single solitary one in the park, just sitting right in an open field. I love the way a willow tree embraces you in a sort of way when you sit under it. I just laid under the it submersed in my sketchbook, making art in the park. Sometimes getting lost helps to discover something great.

Breathe Deep
"We’re not stuck. Even if it feels like we are, it’s not true. We’re the opposite of stuck. As twentysomethings, we’re constantly moving — apartments, relationship, cities, jobs. Anything is possible. People are ready for you. They want to hear what you have to say. They look at you and are curious about what words are going to come out of your mouth. You’re the new generation. What do you have to say? Don’t bite your tongue. One day you’ll be pushed aside for a younger “fresher” perspective so you better get it out now. Make a mark. Make a stain. Make something." -- Ryan O'Connell
